Mobile, AL, January 12, 2010 - Peter D'Olive, a partner with Wilkins Miller Hieronymus LLC, was selected as one of Mobile Bay's forty under 40.  Mobile Bay magazine presented the first annual Mobile Bay forty under 40 awards, a program to recognize 40 of the top individuals younger than age 40 who demonstrate leadership, professional excellence and a commitment to the Bay area community.  The inaugural class of young professionals includes some of the Bay area's hottest rising stars.  This year's class is comprised of a diverse group of individuals, including business executives, lawyers, artists and doctors.  Peter was selected from a pool of more than 150 candidates and recognized with a luncheon and awards presentation at The Battle House Hotel's Moonlight Ballroom.

D'Olive currently serves on The Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy, the Board of Directors for Goodwill Easter Seals, the Finance Committee Chairman for the St. Ignatius School Board, and a Board Member of the Coastal Conservation of Alabama.  He is the Immediate Past President of the Mobile Association for the Blind.

D'Olive has over 15 years experience in public accounting.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration degree from The University of Alabama.  During his career, he has been engaged in many areas of both business and individual accounting and taxation.  His work has included preparation of financial statements for closely held businesses, bookkeeping services, income tax preparation and estate and gift tax planning and preparation for individuals.  He has worked with clients in many areas such as retail, wholesale, contracting and service industries.  Peter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the AICPA Personal Financial Planning Section.
