Page Stalcup Appointed Vice Chairman of Providence Hospital Board of Directors

Wilkins Miller, P.C. is pleased to announce L. Page Stalcup, III has been appointed as Vice Chairman of the Providence Hospital Board of Directors.  Stalcup is serving in his first term on the Board of Directors of Providence Hospital and serves as the Chairman of the Audit and Compensation Committee as well.  Stalcup is a Certified Public Accountant in Alabama and Mississippi and has earned the Accredited in Business Valuation credential (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).

 

Stalcup currently serves as Treasurer of the Exploreum, Inc. Board of Directors, Treasurer of the Edith Murphy Foundation Board of Directors, Treasurer of Outback America Board of Directors, a Board Member of Mobile Bay Watch and a member of the Mobile Sunrise Rotary Club.

 

A past Chairman of the St. Ignatius Church Finance Council, a past member of the United Way of Southwest Alabama, Inc. Board of Directors, he formerly served as the Finance Chairman and President of the Country Club of Mobile Board of Directors, a Past President of The University of Alabama Federal Tax Clinic and the Past President of the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile and Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Mobile.

 

Stalcup received his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration with majors in accounting and economics and a concentration in finance from The University of Alabama.  He joined Wilkins Miller in 1978 which later became Pannell Kerr Forster and was named shareholder in 1987.  His areas of special competence includes a heavy concentration in all areas of taxation including but not limited to corporate, partnership, individual and fiduciary as well as tax and estate planning and significant real estate industry experience.  He offers particular expertise in computer generated worksheet analysis, economic modeling, strategic planning, financial forecasts, projections and budgeting to include full forecasted/projected financial condition and results of operation.  He also has broad experience in mergers and acquisition engagements, litigation engagements and business valuation engagements.
